Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a dependable custodial staff member to support the GCPS Custodial Care Program. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, following approved safety procedures, and maintaining equipment.

The role requires ability to read and follow written safety instructions in English, work as part of a team, and lift up to 50 pounds. Training will cover GCPS policies and custodial toolbox materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform custodial tasks as directed by GCPS Custodial Care Program.
• Ability to hear and follow oral instructions in English.
• Ability to read and follow written safety instructions at basic level.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning and custodial tasks per supervisor schedule.
• Use approved chemicals and equipment per GCPS policies.
• Maintain custodial tools and equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Open and secure facilities or grounds as instructed.
• Suggest improved cleaning practices and assist evaluations.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff and GCPS employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
