Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct or escort pedestrians across streets, stopping traffic as necessary.
• Monitor traffic flow to locate safe gaps for crossing.
• Communicate crossing rules to students and adults.
• Distribute traffic control signs and markers.
• Direct traffic movement or warn of hazards using signs or hand signals.
• Report incidents involving students to the principal.
• Record license numbers of vehicles disregarding signals and report.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
