City of Mobile is seeking a part-time auxiliary worker to direct vehicle traffic at school crossing zones, ensuring pedestrians cross streets safely. Additional duties may include clerical tasks, vehicle inspections, and traffic control during special events.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a valid driver's license is required.

City of Mobile - Starting Hourly Rate: $17.65
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Eligibles selected for appointment must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work. The medical examination must be by one of the physicians designated by the Personnel Board. Appointees must bear the cost of the examination.
