Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced School Counselors for the 2026-2027 school year in the Phoenix Metro Area. The role is full-time and onsite, supporting elementary and middle schools with comprehensive counseling services.

You will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with teachers and families, and assist with academic planning and post-secondary readiness, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling, Counseling, or a related field
• Valid Arizona School Counselor Certification
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community resources to support student success.
• Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, and post-secondary readiness.
• Conduct student assessments and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and support services.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide counseling support as needed.
• Develop and implement school counseling programs aligned with district and state guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring student confidentiality.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate that supports student well-being.
