The School Counselor is responsible for developing treatment-related goals on individualized education program (IEP) and providing trauma-informed counseling services to adolescents served by Hammitt Junior-Senior High School. Also provides consultation and crisis response to assist employees in their interventions with students and facilitates training and support for parents.
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, or related field required. Professional licensure through ISBE or the Department of Professional Regulation required. School Social Worker License preferred.

$53,000 - $63,000/ annually based on experience and certifications!
HOURS: Mon-Fri , school day schedule generally 8a -3:30p (2:30p during summer school), 37.5 hrs/week + following the clinical school calendar, paid over applicable breaks per schedule
