Job summary

Clean Team Inc. is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners to support a Lafayette, IN campus. Evening shifts run Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with weekends off and flexible full- or part-time opportunities.

You will clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas, ensuring a clean and safe campus environment for students and staff, while following procedures and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check required for the facility.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently report to work.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum assigned areas
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms while restocking paper products and soap
• Maintain cafeterias, breakrooms, and other shared spaces
• Follow established cleaning procedures and company quality standards
• Secure assigned areas at the conclusion of each shift
• Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to management
• Represent Clean Team professionally while working on campus
