Campbell County School Dist School Nutrition in Rustburg, VA is seeking a Substitute Cafeteria Assistant to support daily meal preparation, serving and cafeteria cleanup under the supervision of the Cafeteria Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, operating basic kitchen equipment, stocking supplies, cash handling as needed, and maintaining sanitary conditions. This is a part-time, on-site role with an hourly wage of $14.25.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of preparing and serving foods on a large scale.
• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work long hours standing in high-temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meats, breads, vegetables and other foods according to menu.
• Washes pots, pans and utensils; operates dishwasher and other equipment.
• Maintains sanitary conditions and records production data.
• Receives and stocks food supplies and may serve as cashier.
