Job summary

Horry County Schools Ocean Bay Elementary in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina seeks a Cafeteria Operator (7 Hours) to prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals in a clean, customer‑friendly environment.

You will follow established recipes, ensure portion control and nutrition, maintain sanitation standards, complete required training, and perform kitchen duties under the Cafeteria Manager with a 185‑day schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Previous school food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned breakfast and lunch meals.
• Follow established recipes to ensure quality, portion and nutrition.
• Serve attractive, well presented and portion controlled menu items.
• Follow sanitation and food safety practices established by the program.
• Attend required sanitation course and refresher trainings.
• Complete duties in assigned areas including cashiering, inventory and kitchen maintenance.
