Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring a Food Unit Lead for Confluence Preparatory Academy in Saint Louis, MO. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, on-site, with duties including supervising staff and ensuring quality food service.

Prior food service experience is preferred; training is available. The position supports safe, nutritious meals in a school setting and offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees and ensures a quality dining experience.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages following sanitation, safety and portion control standards.
• Helps plan menus and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence in food service.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reports including inventory, payroll and timekeeping.
