Responsibilities

• Performs tasks requiring ordinary skill in preparation and serving of food and maintaining the food service facility.
• Prepares vegetables and other foods for cooking.
• Makes soups and simple hot foods, sandwich fillings, salad dressing and simple desserts.
• Prepares sandwiches and salads.
• Operates mixers, potato peelers, slicing machines, dishwashers and toasters.
• Cleans tables and kitchen equipment.
• Collects and washes dishes, silverware and cooling utensils and stores them.
• Sweeps floors, cleans counters and equipment, and refrigerators.
