Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking a Food Service Worker for Mill Stream Elementary School. The role involves supporting meal preparation, following standardized recipes, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The position requires handling of daily inventories, adherence to HACCP guidelines, and effective communication with team members and school staff. This is a school-year, on-site role with a 30-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or HiSET.
• Documented knowledge of program requirements & records.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team setting.
• Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely manner.
• Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow recipes.
• Documented knowledge of: Quantity food production, Storage and handling techniques, Sanitation techniques, Chemical handling, SDS sheets, Interpreting, following and adapting recipes, Inventory control, Interpreting and maintaining HACCP compliance, Power Lunch for Point of Service and Reporting, Documented knowledge sanitation as designated by management.
