Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is included in a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance appearance.
• Assist cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy.
• Connect with the Manager daily to plan the menu.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work/storage area.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables.
• Follow cleanliness procedures including sweeping and ware washing.
• Maintain garbage collection areas in a neat fashion.
• Perform other duties in the kitchen as assigned.
