Normandy Schools Collaborative in Normandy, MO is seeking a Food Service Worker to support school nutrition activities at assigned locations, handling meal preparation, serving, cleanliness, and cashier duties in a safe, sanitary environment. Reports to the Food Service Manager; part-time position.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, ability to operate kitchen equipment, basic math, and teamwork. Training provided; apply by posting date.

Qualifications

• Operating equipment found in a commercial kitchen.

• Basic computer skills; operating point of sale system and clocking in and out.

Responsabilités

• Oversees the preparation, cooking and serving of food for students and staff.
• Maintains records and reports of food used and student accounts.
• Evaluates flavor, appearance and temperature of prepared food.
• Cleans and maintains sanitary kitchen areas and equipment.
• Prepares food per standardized recipes to meet nutritional requirements.
• Inspects food items and supplies for quality and health standards.
• Inventories food and supplies to meet menu requirements.
• Monitors sanitary conditions in kitchen and serving areas.
• Operates the point of sale system to process meals.
• Reports needed supplies and equipment malfunctions.
