ATX Learning is hiring a Part-time Cafeteria Attendant at Mattahunt Elementary School. The position runs 7 hours daily from 7am to 2pm, located at 123 Alabama St, Mattapan, MA 02126. Reports to the Cafeteria Manager and supports food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, adherence to school policies, and timely performance of duties as directed by the Cafeteria Manager. Prior food-handling experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Candidates must have current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.
• Food Safety Certification for Managers required.

Responsibilities

• Cook the food.
• Safely prepare and handle food.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and facilities.
• Serve food.
• Assist with record keeping.
• Attend training meetings as required.
• Report to work as scheduled and remain on duty until dismissed by the Cafeteria Manager.
• Notify manager if unable to work.
• Maintain pleasant relations with coworkers and follow safety, sanitation, and personnel standards.
