Job summary

Chartwells K-12, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring for full-time and part-time COOK positions at Nixa Public Schools, MO. Schedules vary from 8:00/9:00 am to 1:30/2:00 pm, with online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines.
• Team player with good communication.
• Must be able to work in a cafeteria/kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portioning and temperatures.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping and ordering as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies; HACCP compliance.
