Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER at Gardere Elementary in Baton Rouge. Shift 9:00 am - 1:30 pm with online applications accepted. Prior experience preferred to help operate the POS, assist the Chef, and keep stations clean while serving students and staff.

Role includes food preparation assistance, inventory checks, and adherence to food safety procedures. Benefits are available for eligible associates under Chartwells K-12.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred
• Hospitality or food service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and handle cashier duties accurately
• Assist the Chef and prepare coffee and light foods
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations
• Provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
• Stock and rotate products to ensure proper par levels
