Job summary

Union County Public Schools East Union Middle - Marshville, North Carolina is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant to join the cafeteria team and serve students and staff five days a week during the school year.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the shift, keeping areas up to health regulations, and basic cleaning tasks. Cashiering is required and prior evaluation must be 3.0 or higher; internal candidates must cashier within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Serve students and faculty in a school cafeteria setting, Monday through Friday during the school year.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and be on your feet for a significant portion of the shift.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health department regulations; sweep, mop and take out trash as needed.
