Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of school food service program, nutritional standards, and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general work connected with the operation of food service, including food preparation and handling.
• Assist with cooking as necessary.
• Wash and dry pots, pans, trays, and silverware; participate in serving quality food.
• Serve as POS for breakfast and lunch, verifying a reimbursable meal was served.
• Process daily tally counts for claim reimbursement.
• Attend to general clean up duties and maintain communication with staff.
