Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with children or students.
• Pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all passengers to ensure safety on the bus.
• Assist students entering and exiting the bus.
• Perform safety checks to ensure student safety.
• Know routes and monitor welfare of passengers on route.
• Check the bus for sleeping children.
• Assist driver in backing the vehicle safely.
• Conduct emergency evacuations from the bus.
• Open/close service doors and move on stairs as needed.
• Communicate behavior problems with the driver.
• Liaise with parents as needed.
• Assist with maintaining bus cleanliness.
• Attend field trips or events to ensure passenger safety.
