Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising students on the bus, enforcing behavior guidelines, assisting with boarding and disembarking, and helping maintain cleanliness and orderly dismissal at locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent as deemed appropriate by the Director of Schools.
• Meets health and physical requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manages students during transportation services, referring behavior problems according to guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with students and staff in a positive and professional manner.
• Circulates to assist students who need help on buses.
• Follows instructions and completes tasks efficiently and at a sufficient pace.
• Assists with the cleanliness of the bus.
• Dismisses the bus in an orderly manner at scheduled locations.
• Encourages good bus behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
