Beacon City School District in Beacon, NY seeks Per Diem Bus Monitors to supervise and care for school-age children on buses, maintaining order and intervening in student conflicts.

Responsibilities include monitoring in parking lots, assisting with loading, accompanying students to and from school, calming behavior, and reporting observations to supervisors. May render first aid in emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass Physical Performance Test.
• NYS Fingerprinting clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Monitors students in parking lots and supervises the loading of buses.
• Accompanies students to and from school to maintain order on buses.
• Supervises and/or attempts to calm students.
• Informs superiors of observations of student behavior.
• May assist in rendering first aid in emergencies.
