Qualifications

• Active listening is required to understand students and communicate with parents and drivers.
• High School Diploma is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be City of Springfield resident.

Responsibilities

• Assist children getting on and off the bus safely and ensuring proper seating.
• Ensure children are seated facing forward while the bus is in motion.
• Release children at designated stops to a parent/guardian.
• Maintain order aboard the bus at all times and follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with bus driver and school staff to support student safety.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and good relationships with students, parents, and staff.
