Job summary

A local school district is seeking a Transportation/School Bus Driver to safely transport students daily to and from school and extracurricular activities. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Illinois Commercial Driver's License and School Bus Permit. Responsibilities include monitoring student safety and completing necessary training. This position requires physical capability to perform required tasks and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois Commercial Driver's License or verification of eligibility.
• Valid Illinois School Bus Permit or verification of eligibility.
• Pre-placement Medical Exam including drug/alcohol screening.
• Pass Federal and Regional Office Fingerprint/Background Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school.
• Monitor passengers for safety and discipline.
• Complete and maintain training and certification.
