First Student in Villa Park, IL is seeking Part Time School Bus Monitors/Aides to support drivers and ensure a safe, friendly ride for students. No prior experience required; we provide industry-leading safety training.

Responsibilities include helping students board, assisting those with special needs, and keeping riders seated and safe. The role emphasizes communication with the driver and daily encouragement for students.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
  • Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on safety.

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Monitors/Aides - VIlla Park, IL

As a Part Time School Bus Monitor, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students. You will assist the bus driver in providing an excellent and safe journey for students to and from school. No experience as a School Bus Monitor is required! We will guide you with our industry-leading safety and training programs.

Your day as a School Bus Monitor/Aide will include:

Language Requirement

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
