Job summary

Durham School Services in Boise, Idaho, is hiring School Bus Drivers. Starting pay ranges from $21.06 to $30.00 per hour, with a driver-in-training program to earn your CDL. A signing bonus of up to $2,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, all valid applicable state license to operate company vehicles.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training.
• Must practice defensive driving at all times and avoid accidents by safe driving and work habits.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and reliable transportation service by operating a school bus or other vehicle with a fixed or changing route.
• Exhibits ethical conduct and reports concerns about suspicious behavior to supervisor.
• Reports to duty on time and maintains route on time.
• Assists passengers in evacuation during emergencies when necessary.
• Reports accidents or incidents per company policy.
• Follows company policy on student/passenger management and keeps appropriate personnel informed.
