Job summary

Aledo ISD is seeking a Bus Driver Trainee for the 2026-2027 school year to provide safe student transportation on assigned routes. The role requires a valid Texas CDL with P and S endorsements, a clean driving record, and successful completion of required DOT health and safety checks.

Training must be completed within 60 days, with a start salary of $15.25 per hour and a schedule of 174 calendar days at 6 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Texas CDL with P and S endorsements.
• Must have a safe driving history.
• Must pass a DOT physical and required alcohol/drug testing.
• Must complete background qualification process.
• Must complete bus driver safety training within 60 days.
