Greenwood School District 50 is seeking reliable and safety-minded Bus Drivers to join our Transportation team for the 2025-2026 school year. Our drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive at school and return home safely each day.

As a Bus Driver, you will operate routes, perform inspections, follow safety policies, and maintain discipline on the bus while supporting punctual, dependable transportation for students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
• Satisfactory driving record (no more than 5 points).
• Ability to pass required physicals, drug screening, TB test, and background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student safety and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with all traffic laws and district safety policies.
• Maintain appropriate student discipline on the bus.
• Participate in training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in bus operation.
