Job summary

A transportation service provider in East Greenwich is seeking safe and responsible school bus drivers to transport children to and from school along established routes. The ideal candidate must be 21 years or older with a minimum of 3 years of driving history and a clean driving record. You will conduct vehicle inspections, participate in safety meetings, and ensure the safety and comfort of students during transport. Paid training is provided, and additional job opportunities include charter trips.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off students.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance.
• Take field trips and charter runs as required.
