DeKalb County Central United School District Transportation Department in Auburn, Indiana is looking for Bus Drivers to transport students on routes and events. Daily base pay is $96.30, with mileage and years of service pay and opportunities for daytime and evening supplemental income.

Under supervision, you will operate a school bus, perform safety checks, load/unload students, and maintain discipline while completing required records. Join a supportive team focused on student safety.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Class B Indiana CDL License with P/S endorsements.
• School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the Indiana Division of School Traffic Safety and Emergency Planning.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10-20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to maintain appropriate student behavior and act with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a school bus or transportation vehicle on designated routes within a time schedule.
• Transport students to and from school and on special event trips.
• Perform daily inspections of a bus or transportation equipment.
• Assist in evaluating transportation routes and report unsafe road conditions.
• Load and unload students safely at designated stops and on study trips.
• Escort children across streets and manage student behavior.

Educación

High School Diploma or equivalency

CDL License Class B with P/S endorsements
