Douglas County School District seeks a Driver - Non CDL - Transportation to transport students to and from schools and district events in 14-passenger or smaller vehicles. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive role modeling with community relations and punctuality.

The position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, a Colorado driver’s license, the ability to pass a drug screen, and the physical capability to perform listed tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass initial drug screen and participate in a random drug and alcohol screening program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre and post route safety inspections on assigned vehicle. Service vehicle as required.
• Transport and monitor student ridership including special education students on school buses.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure route information is current and accurate.
• Attend trainings, complete paperwork, and maintain student conduct for safety.
