All interested applicants for a Driver position, including those fully qualified with a commercial driver’s license, begin as a Driver in Training. The best-trained drivers in the business work for us because we devote significant resources to training and development.

A Driver in Training will be trained by our staff to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and related endorsements, where available. Upon successful completion of the training program, the Driver In Training will be placed in a Professional Driver role.

• Provides safe and reliable transportation service by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle.
• Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
• Reports to duty on time and maintains route on time but in a safe manner.
• Physically assists passengers in evacuation of the vehicle in case of emergency.
• Immediately reports any accident or incident per Company policy.
