Job summary

First Student, Inc. in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring part-time school bus drivers to start the day with pre-school pickup and finish with afternoon drop-off. No prior bus driving experience is required; we provide state-of-the-art CDL training and support.

You will work a split shift with a guaranteed 6-hour daily schedule and opportunities for extra hours on trips and charters. Applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license for 3+ years, and be willing to pass safety and DOT drug

Qualifications

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers for Mt. Pleasant and Awendaw, SC

As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

No experience as a bus driver is required! We're proud to train you with our industry-leading technology to help you succeed.

Your day will include:

• A split shift, which means an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between.
• A guaranteed shift of 6 hours per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to.
• Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available.

School Bus Driver benefits:

• $22.75 - $33.08 an hour starting wage, based on school bus driver experience.

• $500 Bonus if Commercial Learner's Permit is received with 7 days of completing State Class. $200 Bonus if Commercial Learner's Permit is completed within 14 days of completing State Class.*
