Cabarrus County School District Hickory Ridge High in Harrisburg, NC is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school and events. Immediate starting date; pay ranges hourly; requires 18+, valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and DOT/DMV checks.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, safe driving, maintaining discipline, and completing records; must pass background checks and FMCSA clearance; health certificate required; training

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of driving experience as a licensed operator.
• Must be 18 years old.

Mansioni

• Performs pre- and post-trip school bus inspection; reports operating and equipment deficiencies.
• Transports students to and from school, along with other activities and events.
• Cleans bus inside and out including washing as needed, sweeping, emptying trash, etc.
• Obeys traffic laws and observes safety regulations for school bus operations.
• Ensures passenger safety; maintains discipline on bus; completes disciplinary forms as needed
• Conducts periodic emergency evacuation drills.
• Records mileage; maintains records and reports.
• Performs related work as required.
