Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is hiring a school bus driver to transport students safely using Zūm’s technology platform. You will follow routes, maintain schedules, and ensure passenger safety while upholding company policies and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, legal right to work in the United States, and the ability to obtain a CDL if not already licensed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and any state-required certifications and 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements, with training provided.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to work split shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.
• Create a safe, positive environment for students and ensure passenger safety.
