Hondo ISD Transportation and Maintenance in Hondo, Texas is hiring a Bus Driver to ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned routes. You will operate a school bus to and from schools or designated locations, following routes and schedules.

Starting date is Immediate; wage is $23.85 per hour. Non-CDL drivers willing to train are encouraged; previous experience is not required.

Competenze

Must be 18 years old.
Able to pass alcohol and drug tests.
Able to complete required bus driver safety training.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of student discipline procedure.
Able to manage student behavior.
Able to operate a school bus.

Mansioni

Follow assigned route and schedules.
Drive bus to and from extracurricular activities.
Check bus for defects before and after operation and notify supervisor of repairs.
Report accidents, damage, injuries, and mechanical failures; complete reports.
Keep assigned bus clean and fueled.
Supervise students boarding and alighting the bus; monitor behavior.
Communicate with teachers and parents about student behavior.
Observe traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.
