Responsibilities

• Drive bus on designated routes according to schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• fuel the bus as needed and maintain fuel records.
• Deliver bus to maintenance as scheduled.
• Submit reports to transportation supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
• Operate bus in compliance with Georgia laws and district policies under various weather conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior.
• Manage student discipline and refer serious infractions as needed.
• Support the safe and orderly operation of loading and unloading procedures.
