Job summary

Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium in California is seeking a professional school bus driver to join our transportation team. The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a physical and drug test.

As part of our operations, you will drive safely, perform daily pre-trip inspections, keep the bus clean, report incidents, and participate in on-site training under Supervisor Jeremy Miller, Director of Operations. Discrimination policy applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CDL with S-1 and P endorsements and no restrictions.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass physical including drug test.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation.
• Must pass State Skill Test and State Written Test.
• Ability to communicate clearly and in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Drives a school bus safely and professionally.
• Deals with stressful conditions in a professional manner.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections.
• Complies with all traffic ordinances and school policies.
• Keeps assigned bus clean daily.
