Job summary

Legacy Early College in Greenville, SC is seeking a Bus Driver to provide safe student transportation and excellent customer service for students, staff and families. The role supports centralized transportation activities and operates within the 180-day school calendar.

The driver maintains bus cleanliness, logs and attendance, and participates in safety trainings while following district policies and reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL
• Minimum 12 months driving experience
• CDL Class B with Air Brakes, Passenger & School Bus Endorsements

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to students, employees and guests.
• Represent Legacy Early College in operating bus resources, routes and transportation.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of buses and equipment.
• Follow the published weekly work schedule.
• Maintain the bus drivers' in and out log.
• Enter attendance in the designated computer software.
• Participate in training certifications and safety compliance.
• Ensure the environment is safe for scholars by monitoring safety concerns.
• Fill out incident forms in case of an accident.
• Report cleaning/supplies needs on the designated form.
• Report maintenance needs on the designated form.
• Other duties assigned
