First Student is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver in Richmond, VA to start each school day with pre-school pickup and finish with after-school drop-off.

You will handle a split shift with a guaranteed 6-hour day and optional extra hours on trips or charters. A starting wage of $27.50 per hour applies, with $16.38 per hour during paid training. Must have Class A/B license with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements, and be at least 21.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake endorsements.
• 21+ years old minimum and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a part-time school bus driver on a split shift (before and after school).
• Maintain a 6-hour guaranteed daily schedule with no nights or weekends unless desired.
• Take additional hours for trips or charters when available.

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers! Serving Richmond, VA.

As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students’ day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.

Experience Required: must have Class A or B license w/ Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements

Your day will include:

• A split shift, which means an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between
• A guaranteed shift of 6 hours per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to
• Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available
