Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license for at least 12 months.
• No more than four points on driving record.
• No suspensions in the past 12 months.
• Successful completion of SC school bus training and CDL program.
• Completion of district-provided 4‑day training.

Responsibilities

• Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain discipline on the bus and report student concerns.
• Keep bus clean and enforce no smoking/eating rules.
• Adhere to assigned schedule and transport authorized students only.
• Check bus before operation and report mechanical issues.
• Exercise leadership and cooperate with others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
