MSAD 75 in Topsham, Maine seeks a Transportation Specialist (School Bus Driver) to transport students on scheduled routes and field trips, ensuring safe loading and unloading and compliance with all laws.

Starting pay is $26.99–$27.80 per hour (DOE). A new hire bonus/incentive of $1,500 is offered, with $750 after 120 days and $750 after one year of employment. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Maine CHRC background check authorization.
• Valid Maine CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements.
• Clean driving record with DMV.
• Ability to read and interpret route sheets.

Responsibilities

• Transport students on scheduled routes and field trips, ensuring safe loading and unloading.
• Obey traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain bus discipline per MSAD 75 policies and procedures.
• Perform daily bus checks as required.
• Notify authorities in case of mechanical issues, delays or accidents.
