Job summary

First Student is hiring experienced part-time School Bus Drivers in Warren, MI. You will start mornings with student pickups and transport afternoons, with possible field trips and events. A valid CDL-B Passenger and School Bus endorsements are required, along with DOT-compliant medical and background checks.

The role offers a flexible AM/PM split, minimal evenings, and opportunities for growth across 540 locations in the U.S. & Canada.

• No Air Brake Restriction (or have air brakes) and DOT physical requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards; communicate with parents and school staff.

As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

Your day as a School Bus Driver will include:
