Job summary

WE Transport is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to shuttle students in Chester, NY. Operate a school bus or van safely, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure on-time transport to and from school.

Applicants must be 21+ with 1+ years of driving experience and NYS CDL with P&S endorsements (or Class C with P&S for vans); must pass drug test and background check. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive wages, PTO, 401(k) with match, life insurance, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check and maintain CDL compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a safe ride.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
