Position: School Bus Driver

Location: Transportation Department, Seguin ISD

Job Description:

• Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, following all applicable Federal, State, and Texas Education Agency (TEA) laws and policies.
• Transport students and staff to and from school and district activities on designated routes.

Qualifications:

• Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with "P" and "S" endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Acceptable driving record and Texas Education Agency (TEA) Certification for school bus drivers.
• Ability to pass yearly DOT physical, drug, and alcohol screenings.
• Ability to read, write, and follow maps and routes.
• Effective communication skills with parents, students, and staff.
• Completion of required bus driver safety training.
• Acceptable Criminal History Record.
