Job summary

Texas Central School Bus in Keller, TX is hiring school bus drivers for part-time routes. Earn $23.00 per hour with paid training and flexible split shifts (6 AM-9 AM and 2 PM-5 PM).

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL Operator’s license with required endorsements; be at least 21 years old and pass a background check and drug test. You will drive regular routes, assist students, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and participate in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive a regular route as assigned.
• Assist students in loading and unloading.
• Cooperate with school personnel, parents and students.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Attend safety and training meetings.
• Conduct emergency evacuation from the bus if needed.
• Cleans inside and outside of the bus.

Texas Central School Bus is now Hiring School Bus Drivers in Keller, TX. Our drivers have flexible hours and time off during school holidays.

No Experience Necessary!

Location Info: Texas Central School Bus:

• $23 Starting Pay!
• Paid Training
• Flexible Split Shift: 6 AM-9 AM to 2 PM-5PM (hours may vary)*
• Monthly Safety Bonus: $50

• Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver.
• Must read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
• Assists students in the loading and unloading process.
• Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents and students.
• Attendance at all safety and training meetings.
• Conducts emergency evacuation from the bus, including exiting from the emergency door.
• Opens and closes service doors and moves up and down steps multiple times daily.
• Cleans the insides of the bus including sweeping, dusting and cleaning windows. Cleans outside windows of the bus.
• Other specialized functions as required by contract.

Minimum Education & Certifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess or have the ability to obtain CDL Operator’s license with required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check and drug test.

Experience & Skills Required

• The ability to work early morning hours.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision.
