First Student is hiring a Part Time School Bus Driver in Duxbury, MA. Start mornings with pickup and finish with afternoon routes, with opportunities for field trips and events.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to ensure safe operations and professional service for students and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to minimize distractions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires and exits.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service on every route.

As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students' days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.

Your day as a School Bus Driver will include

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
