Job summary

STA is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and serve the local community. No prior school bus driving experience is required as we provide paid training to help you earn your CDL and become a confident, professional driver.

You will transport students on assigned routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and attend monthly safety meetings. Opportunities for additional earnings may arise through field trips and charter runs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Pass required pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated bus stops.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment.
• Attend required monthly safety meetings and training.

• Follow all school bus safety and bus stop safety procedures
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment
• Attend required monthly safety meetings and training
• Complete field trips, activity trips, and charter runs as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history
• Clean driving record within the past 24-36 months
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Successfully complete the company's paid training program
• Pass required pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and other hiring requirements
