Driver Position Summary

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from pickup points to their destinations in a timely and safe manner. This includes performing pre‑trip inspections, child checks after routes, and maintaining the vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.

Compensation and Schedule

Part‑time, weekday schedule with summers off. Base rate: $100 per day for activity drivers in Basehor, KS. Drivers with a CDL and P&S endorsements are eligible for a sign‑on bonus of $3,000 and $1,500 for non‑CDL or drivers without endorsements. Paid CDL training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well‑maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff professionally
• Perform other duties as assigned
