Job summary

DS Bus Lines is seeking a part-time School Bus Monitor to assist the Driver with safe boarding, riding, and alighting of students. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment while on the bus and ensuring students reach their destination safely.

Responsibilities include greeting students, helping with boarding, performing end-of-route checks, and supporting the Driver to stay focused on driving. Training is paid at $8.00.

Qualifications

• Work with students to ensure safe boarding, riding, and alighting.
• Assist students as needed and greet them politely.
• Maintain a safe bus environment during the route.

Responsibilities

• Greet students in a pleasant manner.
• Help students board and exit the bus.
• Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.
• Perform child checks at end of tour of duty.
• Maintain safe environment on the bus.
• Assist with wheelchair restraints as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
