Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a School Bus Aide to support safe boarding and disembarking, assist the driver with passenger management, and communicate with parents and school officials along the route in the Catskills region of New York. The role requires background checks and health screenings, the ability to cross students when needed, and a commitment to courteous, respectful conduct. Training is provided and paid, with a base pay of $16.00 per hour and a daily 4-hour guarantee.

Qualifications

• Background check and NYS/federal documents required.
• Provide satisfactory forms of ID for employment.
• Three references may be contacted.
• History of residential addresses may be requested.
• Pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol test provided by Rolling V Bus.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with boarding/disembarking buses.
• Work with the bus driver on passenger management.
• Report incidents to school officials and guardians.
• Assist in releasing students to approved individuals.
• Support safety during emergencies and routine operations.
